Northrim Bank

Palmer, Alaska

Project Description

This project entails the full build-out of a 1,727 square foot Northrim Bank branch within an existing empty tenant shell. The design creates a professional, secure, and customer-focused banking environment that reflects Northrim Bank’s commitment to community banking in Alaska. The layout includes a welcoming lobby and waiting area, teller stations with secure transaction counters, a small conference/meeting room for client consultations, private offices for banking staff, and an ATM vestibule. Emphasis is placed on clear sightlines, efficient customer flow, and a modern aesthetic using Northrim’s brand colors, materials, and signage to convey trust, stability, and accessibility.

The build-out includes selective demolition, new interior partitions, and complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems tailored to banking requirements. This encompasses enhanced security features, upgraded HVAC, energy-efficient lighting, data and communication infrastructure, and fire protection systems. Finishes will feature durable commercial flooring, painted walls with branded accents, wood-tone millwork at teller lines, and high-quality fixtures in restrooms. All work will meet ADA accessibility standards, stringent bank security guidelines, and applicable local building codes. The project was executed efficiently delivering a polished, functional branch ready to serve the local community.
